In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) baseball squad triumphed over the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), by a margin of 12-1.

With the win, Elko betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Indians host Wells (Wells, NV) to encounter the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Wells lost 11-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV)

With the defeat, South Tahoe falls to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to encounter the Greenwave in a challenge on Friday, March 24. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Churchill County won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against North Valleys (Reno, NV)
