In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Western Guilford Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Southern Alamance Patriots.

The Hornets now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast Guilford for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. Western Guilford will face a Falcons squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 21. Southern Alamance will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-7 record after their 16-3 league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC).
