Georgia High School Soccer - Walker knocks off Therrell
March 16, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 Walker Wolverines (Marietta, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Therrell Panthers (Atlanta, GA), 12-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Area 6 challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Walker will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA).
The Panthers now possess a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Drew Charter for a 2A Area 6 challenge on Monday, March 20. Therrell will confront a team coming off a 2-1 league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The record now stands at 8-0.
