South Carolina High School Softball - Florence Christian loses to Cardinal Newman
March 16, 2023: Columbia, SC 29223 The Cardinal Newman Cardinals softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Florence Christian Eagles to 11 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Cardinal Newman moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Hammond (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Skyhawks in a SCISA AAA Region I game on Tuesday, March 21. The Skyhawks come into the game with a record of 3-2. Hammond lost 7-4 in their recent league game against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC)
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Christian Academy Saints (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a SCISA A Region II game, on Tuesday, March 21. Florence Christian will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
