California High School Softball - Gilroy knocked off by Hollister

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, Hollister moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Haybalers host Notre Dame (Salinas, CA) to play the Spirits in a PCAL - Gabilan contest on Friday, March 17. The Spirits come into the game with a record of 3-1. Notre Dame won 5-2 in their recent league game against North Salinas (Salinas, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) in a Mount Hamilton game, on Tuesday, March 21. Gilroy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
