Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mercyhurst Prep upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lakers travel to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart falls to 1-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
