Virginia High School Baseball - Washington-Liberty gets by Meridian
March 16, 2024: Arlington, VA 22201 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), saw Washington-Liberty's baseball squad knock off Meridian by a count of 3-0.
Coming up next, the Generals play the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a Liberty battle, on Tuesday, March 19. Washington-Liberty will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Saxons enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 0-0 non-league Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Potomac Senior for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 23. Meridian will play a Panthers squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Freedom (Woodbridge, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
