Virginia High School Softball - Lebanon bounces Amherst County
March 16, 2024: Amherst, VA 24521 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) and the host Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA), saw Lebanon's softball squad achieve victory over Amherst County by a count of 16-6.
The Pioneers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacksburg for a non-league match on Saturday, March 16. Lebanon will face a Bruins squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Auburn (Riner, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Amherst County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to face the Governors in a non-league match on Monday, March 18.
