March 16, 2024: Williamston, SC 29697 The Palmetto Mustangs softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Broome Centurions to 4 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Palmetto moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Saturday, March 16. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 2-2. Powdersville won 10-7 in their recent non-league game against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC)
In their next game, the Centurions clash with the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a AAA Region 3 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Broome will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Palmetto (Williamston, SC).
