Louisiana High School Softball - Pitkin bounces DeQuincy
March 16, 2024: Pitkin, LA 70656 The Pitkin Tigers routed the visiting DeQuincy Tigers softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Rams go into the B District 4 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Oak Hill was routed by Fairview (Grant, LA), 12-9, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now sport a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Welsh for a 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, March 19. DeQuincy will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-11.
