The Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) softball routed the host Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA), 12-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Pineville held off Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
