Washington High School Softball - Lakeside bounces Hermiston
March 16, 2024: Hermiston, WA 97838 Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Coeur d'Alene for a 5A Inland Empire challenge on Saturday, March 16. Lakeside will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Hermiston falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Moses Lake won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA)
