In Saturday's non-league contest, the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) softball team the host La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), by a margin of 7-5.

With the triumph, Vista moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 16.
