The Converse Wildcats baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Bossier Bearkats to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Hicks was overwhelmed by Rapides (Lecompte, LA), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Bossier falls to 7-5 on the season. The Bearkats travel to Negreet (Negreet, LA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Negreet won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Hineston, LA)
