Virginia High School Soccer - Glass nudges Charlottesville
March 17, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hilltoppers face the Rustburg Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Friday, March 18. Glass will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Devils enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).
The Black Knights now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverbend for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Charlottesville will face a Bears team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
