Alabama High School Softball - Rain holds off Vigor
March 17, 2022: Mobile, AL 36605 Rain Red Raiders (Mobile, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL), 10-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Raiders now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chickasaw for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Rain will battle a Chieftains squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to Murphy (Mobile, AL). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Vigor falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to LeFlore (Mobile, AL) to battle the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Rattlers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. LeFlore lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Elberta (Elberta, AL)
