Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 19-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Early County upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA) to battle the Indians in a 1A D-II Area 1 test on Monday, March 20. The Indians come into the test with a record of 12-5. Seminole County lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Blountstown (Blountstown, FL)

With the defeat, Stewart County falls to 1-1 on the season. The Royal knights host Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to battle the Eagles in a 1A D-II Area 1 test on Monday, March 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-3. Mitchell County won 22-8 in their recent non-league test against Baker County (Newton, GA)
