Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA), 12-10 in a non-league test.

With the win, Palmerton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blue Bombers travel to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA) to battle the Olympians in a non-league test on Monday, March 20. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 1-0. Jim Thorpe won 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA)

With the defeat, Lehighton falls to 0-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
