The Alcoa Tornadoes tipped the visiting Brainerd Panthers basketball team by a final score of 71-68 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Douglass Red Devils (Memphis, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 18. Alcoa will attempt to move on its 23-8 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 27-7 record after their 56-42 non-league win over Giles County (Pulaski, TN).

With the defeat, Brainerd moves to 25-8 on the year.
