California High School Volleyball - Mount Miguel over King-Chavez Community
March 17, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91977 Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting King-Chavez Community Lions (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Matadors battle the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 18. Mount Miguel will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Monarchs come into the match with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Gompers Prep Academy (San Diego, CA).
With the loss, King-Chavez Community drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Friday, March 17. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 4-8. Southwest SD lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA)
