Walter Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), 47-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Walter Panas upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 21-5. Canandaigua Academy won 55-42 in their recent non-league bout against Manhasset (Manhasset, NY)
