In Friday's non-league battle, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), by a count of 17-8.

Coming up next, the Vikings clash with the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle, on Monday, March 20. Union Pines will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 17-3 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
