Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Union County will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-2 league Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA).

The Leopards now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fellowship Christian for a 2A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Banks County will confront a Paladins team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 10-0.
