Virginia High School Soccer - Nansemond River knocks off New Kent
March 17, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Nansemond River will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Sundevils enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Norview (Norfolk, VA).
The Trojans now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gloucester for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. New Kent will confront a Dukes team coming off a 13-0 league win over Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 1-0.
