March 17, 2023: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 The Stone Mountain Pirates soccer team (Stone Mountain, GA), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA)
With the win, Rockdale County advances its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) to battle the War Eagles in a 6A Region 3 outing on Monday, March 20. The War Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Woodward Academy won 11-0 in their recent league outing against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA)
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) in a 4A Region 6 outing, on Friday, March 24. Stone Mountain will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 7-9 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA).
