March 17, 2023: Greenville, NC 27858 John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC), 9-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, John Paul II Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Saints host Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-1.
With the defeat, Gramercy Christian falls to 0-1 on the season.
