Virginia High School Soccer - Jamestown held off by Western Albemarle
March 17, 2023: Williamsburg, VA 23185 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) and the host Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), saw Western Albemarle's soccer squad get by Jamestown by a margin of 1-0.
The Warriors now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson test on Tuesday, March 21. Western Albemarle will meet a Lions squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Jamestown drops to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to meet the Clippers in a Bay Rivers test on Friday, March 24. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Grafton 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA)
