The Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) softball routed the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 12-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors go into the AAAAA Region 6 bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Wando was routed by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 10-0, in a non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Monday, March 20. James Island will play a Bengals team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 5-3.
