Louisiana High School Baseball - Central loses to Lafayette Christian Academy
March 17, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70507 Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA), 7-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Lafayette Christian Academy advances its record to 14-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Welsh (Welsh, LA) to battle the Greyhounds in a 2A District 6 match on Tuesday, March 18. The Greyhounds come into the match with a record of 12-7. Welsh won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Rayne (Rayne, LA)
The Wildcats now have a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkview Baptist for a non-league match on Thursday, March 20. Central will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
