March 17, 2025: Chickamauga, GA 30707 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) and the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA), saw Gordon Lee's baseball team gain a win over Sonoraville by a tally of 9-2.
The Trojans (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians enter the A D1 Region 7 battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Chattooga was overwhelmed by Dade County (Trenton, GA), 11-4, in a league battle.
Next, the Phoenix face the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) in a AA Region 7 battle, on Thursday, March 20. Sonoraville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 6-7 record after their 7-2 league win over North Murray (Chatsworth, GA).
