The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) and the visiting Hamilton Lions (Hamilton, MS), saw West Point's baseball team get by Hamilton by a tally of 12-11.

The Green Wave (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors enter the 5A Region 1 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Corinth was tipped by James Clemens (Madison, AL), 6-3, in a non-league battle.
