The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) and the host Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), saw Parker's baseball team gain a win over Wenonah by a tally of 16-3.

The Thundering Herd (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Mountain Brook was overwhelmed by Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Dragons face the Northside Rams (Northport, AL) in a 5A Area 9 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Wenonah will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 14-2 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL).
