March 17, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27410 Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ledford moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to clash with the Black Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Black Knights come into the test with a record of 1-0. North Davidson won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
The Hornets now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Page for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Western Guilford will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
