Illinois High School Soccer - Taft toppled by Maine South
March 17, 2025: Park Ridge, IL 60068 Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Maine South moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to clash with the Wildkits in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. The Wildkits come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19.
