Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Unity Reed Lions (Manassas, VA), 10-2 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Mount Vernon improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Majors travel to Herndon (Herndon, VA) to play the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, March 24. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 1-0.
