In Monday's league match, the host Caddo Magnet Mustangs softball team scored a tight 9-8 win over the Northwood Falcons.

The Mustangs (6-9) will now prepare for their match against North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Griffins come into the 4A District 1 match with a 14-2 record. In their last match, North DeSoto nipped Bossier (Bossier City, LA), 15-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 21. Northwood will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 6-4 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Iota (Iota, LA).
