Louisiana High School Softball - Cohen topped by East St. John
March 17, 2025: Reserve, LA 70084 East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA), 28-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, East St. John improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Terrebonne (Houma, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 7 game on Tuesday, March 18. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-9. Terrebonne lost 15-3 in their recent league game against Bourgeois (Gray, LA)
In their next game, the Green Hornets clash with the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) in a 2A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Cohen will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cajuns go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 19-3 non-league win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA).
