Arkansas High School Softball - Dover topped by Pottsville
March 17, 2025: Pottsville, AR 72858 Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Dover Pirates (Dover, AR), 10-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Pottsville improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Apaches host Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR) to play the Sand Lizards in a 4A Region 4 game on Tuesday, March 18. The Sand Lizards enter the game with a record of 2-4. Dardanelle lost 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Marion (Marion, AR)
The Pirates now hold a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perryville for a 3A Region 5 game on Tuesday, March 18. Dover will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.
