The West Lincoln Bears softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Franklin County Bulldogs to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Monday.

The Bears now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bogue Chitto for a 2A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, March 18. West Lincoln will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Franklin County moves to 7-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jefferson County (Fayette, MS) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
