Next, the Wildcats play the Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. Garinger will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Redhawks enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 17-0 league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the Queen City 3A/4A challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Hough edged Chambers (Charlotte, NC), 18-0, in a league challenge.
