Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions (St. Louis, MO), 60-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Webster Groves upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Helias (Jefferson City, MO) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 19. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 11-13. Helias won 53-50 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO)
