The San Lorenzo Valley Cougars nudged the visiting Franklin Yellowjackets baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Scotts Valley for a Santa Cruz Coast bout on Monday, March 20. San Lorenzo Valley will face a Falcons team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-6.
