Arizona High School Baseball - Valley Union defeats San Miguel

Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), 12-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Valley Union upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Eagles in a 1A South test on Monday, March 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-3. Desert Christian won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ)

With the defeat, San Miguel falls to 0-11 on the season. The Vipers travel to Safford (Safford, AZ) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A South test on Tuesday, March 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-3. Safford won 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Show Low (Show Low, AZ)
