In Saturday's non-league outing, the Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), by a margin of 72-48.

The Red KNights (30-1) will now prepare for their outing against Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 29-3 record. In their last outing, Spring-Ford smashed State College (State College, PA), 45-39, in a non-league outing.

The Hurricanes now own a 24-4 record.
