California High School Lacrosse - Memorial can't get by Mater Dei

March 18, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92707

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Mater Dei Monarchs lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Memorial Mustangs.

The Monarchs now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Range for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. Mater Dei will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to Servite (Anaheim, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX) in a Class A South test, on Tuesday, March 21. Memorial will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-1 record after their 21-11 league win over Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX).
