March 18, 2023: Alcoa, TN 37701 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) and the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), saw Signal Mountain's soccer squad get by Alcoa by a margin of 3-2.
The Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they host East Ridge for a 2A District 8 test on Tuesday, March 21. Signal Mountain will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Alcoa drops to 2-3 on the season. The Tornadoes host Webb (Knoxville, TN) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
