McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Corner for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 18. McAdory will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Pinson Valley falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Cullman (Cullman, AL) to face the Bearcats in a 6A Area 14 challenge on Tuesday, March 21.
