The Richland Bombers routed the visiting Mead Panthers softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bombers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Southridge (Kennewick, WA). The Suns go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Southridge topped Post Falls (Post Falls, ID), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
