March 18, 2024: Lexington, KY 40507 The Sayre Spartans baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Frankfort Christian Academy Royals to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Model (Richmond, KY). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Model gained a win over Jackson County (McKee, KY), 14-9, in a non-league match.
The Royals (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines go into the District 41 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Western Hills was overwhelmed by Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY), 6-3, in a non-league match.
