Spring Grove Rockets (Spring Grove, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, Spring Grove upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rockets host Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 3-0. Shippensburg won 12-3 in their recent non-league test against Littlestown (Littlestown, PA)

With the defeat, South Western falls to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Northeastern (Manchester, PA) to battle the Bobcats in a test on Tuesday, March 26. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 0-0.
